World Run Day 2006 events are held worldwide....
"This is a chance for Event Directors and Runners to link up with one another on a global level and share in a celebration of fitness and charity in one of two ways..."
A. Register as part of the Virtual Run:
Join runners in cities across the world by registering for the World Run
Day Virtual Run. Titled by major cities, hundreds of registration web
sites will track a network of runners in a one-day celebration of running.
Each runner has their name posted on www.runday.com with their results and
is issued the official World Run Day 2006 event t-shirt. Teachers and students are making this event part of a class project about fitness and charity.
B. Register in a World Run Day Group Event:
Many cities are hosting World Run Day with our assistance. We provide a sponsorship
template, event t-shirt, assistance in contacting the media, and an international
advertising campaign.
People in the following cities have previously expressed interest in hosting World Run
Day. We will confirm all Group Events by September 30th.We will provide additional information regarding these events in the near future.

worldwide in a Virtual Run. All participants have the opportunity to
post their results on the World Run Day event website and compare their results
to people around the world. The solidarity of runners worldwide on this event day are expressed
in both group event and virtual run events.
